The gazebo is one of the most romantic wedding sites imaginable. When you dress a gazebo up with flowers and greenery it seems to breathe love and romance. The gazebo has been used by painters and other artists to show a romantic setting for ages. Wedding gazebos have become very popular as more and more people seek options to the old church wedding. If you already have a gazebo or are planning to build one for the wedding you will need some ideas for decorating it.

One great choice is to drape the gazebo with a light airy fabric. You can use a variety of materials but the most popular are colored silks or laces. Some people go for flash by using materials like crushed velvet or shiny satin. The material is draped over the gazebo and tied with colorful ribbons. Another great idea for decorating wedding gazebos is to drape it with garlands. The great thing about this is that the garlands can be made of literally anything. And garlands can be used in combination with fabrics to create truly memorable and beautiful wedding gazebos.

Finally, if you want to be truly creative you can either hang things like Japanese paper lanterns for a Far Eastern setting or for snowy beauty of a late fall or winter you can hang strings of crystals and plastic snowflakes and, if the wedding is at night you can add strings of lights. The internet has a truly wealth of ideas for creating a memorable wedding gazebo for this important day. You can find ideas on almost any decorating site and there a sites that offer ideas for wedding gazebos specifically. Finally you can choose to hire a professional decorator. While your wedding planner should have some input a professional decorator will have many original ideas to present.

Storage Design in the Bedroom

Tag: Homeadmin @ 4:08 pm

The bedroom needs to be comfortable for you – it’s the most personal room in your home. And so when it comes to storing clothing, furniture, or anything else in your room, you need to keep it neat. This can be harder than it looks – managing storage space is more challenging than it may seem. Here is some advice I’ve found that may help you with your search for the perfect storage design.

For many people, out of sight means out of mind. This can be a disaster if you, say, shove everything under your bed without order. But if you put a little thought into how you organize everything, this can be the perfect place to keep a lot of your things. Just make sure you know where you put everything, so it’s easy to get when you need it again.

Another factor that will help you keep things in order will be compactness. Use the least amount of space possible, and it will be much less obtrusive than it would be otherwise. One of the ways I keep things together is by setting up a set of stackable storage cubes that I use to keep all the little things that I don’t know what to do with. These are place against a wall near a corner, where they never get in my way, but if I’m looking for some random little thing, this is exactly where I start my search. It’s quick to go through too. If you have a problem with clutter, just compact it and keep it in one place, so it doesn’t, you know, clutter everything up?

These are just a couple things I’ve found that work well for me, and I’d hope that they work for you too. If you would like other details or advice on storage, my home decoration blog, Storage Artist, is always available.
