Garage Floor Paint Colors
A great thing about the floor painting market is that more and more people demand custom colors. This gives you, a normal consumer of floor paint, the perfect opportunity to take one of your favorite places in your house and make it exactly the way you want to custom specification. This can be done as special orders from all the main paint manufactures with a slight fee. If you do not want to spend the extra fees for your custom garage they do have basic over the counter colors that will pretty much go with any design that you are doing for your garage.
The first color that is very popular is white. White shows pretty much everything that might spill on the floor. This is a great color that many guys tend to like. White goes with all kinds of tools and cabinets that you may be trying to tie in. The one main problem that you might have that many people complain about is the white reflection. This is a great thing if you are working on your car to see underneath it and get some indirect lighting but a problem when you have too much light. With a well-lit garage the floor is too bright and the glare almost makes it unbearable.
The second kind of color that is very popular is the gray color with specks of white, black and blue. This color is great if you are not too worried about finding a small nut or bolt that may have fallen down while you are working. The main reason so many people decide on this color is because no matter what you work on and what you park in your garage the floors will always look new and shiny in this color. This gray color with speckles tends to hide the dirt and grime really well making the floor always look clean and new. Especially when you wash it down, the true look of the gray really comes through and gives your garage a really bright and warm working environment. Home design tips span into your garage as well. It is important to make sure whatever color you choose you keep it clean and functional for the feel you want to create.
