Golf Outerwear – Essentials For Golf Wardrobe
Golf outerwear a lot of times does not get the emphasis it deserves. Ladies tend to focus a lot on stylish golfing outfits and place only casual interest on outerwear. A lot of ladies will try to make do with whatever outerwear garments they find in their closet.
There is a strong need to attire yourself in proper outerwear, as dictated by the weather, when golfing. Being on the golf course, without the appropriate outerwear can significantly impact your game. It will not take long for the impact to hit you. When this happens, many swear to themselves they will do something about it. But a lot of us have a natural tendency to put things off. Thus, this we seem to set ourselves up for a repeat performance of not being properly attired for the weather.
Do you find your golf outerwear lacking? If so, here are some recommendations to help you build a good golf wardrobe:
Essentials in headwear: Headwear protection is a necessity, when outdoors. Take a quick check on the weather before heading off to the course, so you can select the appropriate headgear. A cap is best worn on days where the sun will be shining brightly. Wear a visor when clouds are predominating. Chilly or cold days will require warmer head wear. A knitted cap or beanie often works great. Not every lady will wear golf headwear. Are you one of those ladies? If so, protect your hair by spraying it with a product that has SPF protection before hitting the course.
Essentials in golf jackets: For those slightly chilly days, or warm days with windy conditions, a lightweight jacket or windbreaker is often the best way to go. A waterproof jacket is certainly a got-to-have garment for golfing. Never go golfing without having one in your bag. Cold days demand a heavyweight jacket. Favorite jackets of many golfers are those made with performance fabrics. The costs of these high performance jackets are higher, but a lot of golfers would probably tell you they are glad to pay more. In ladies golf attire, high performance jackets can be considered an asset.
