As a little girl you probably had a small jewelry box that you treasured, but likely filled with a lot of little treasures that had nothing to do with jewelry. I know my first jewelry boxes were made of seashells and inside I had more shells and little beach stones than precious gems. However, as we grow up and collect a few treasures that are not all found for free on beaches, the jewelry boxes we choose take on a new meaning, namely: a place to safely store items we value but don’t use daily, as well as a place to store the items we use every day and don’t want to get ruined.
