Although wedge shoes are very versatile and fashionable, they may not look good on every outfit. There are many pros and cons that you should be aware of if you want to avoid a fashion disaster. This type of ladies shoe does not have a heel under the heel of the foot only, but it runs under the length of the entire foot. The heel is in the shape of a wedge, but not all footwear in this style are high heels. The styles are extremely versatile.

These shoes are great for adding height, yet they are easier to walk in than stilettos. They are sophisticated and comfortable, creating a very cosmopolitan look.

The best clothing to wear them with includes gauchos, wide leg jeans or flared pants, wrap dresses, bohemian styles, and flowing skirts. Avoid wearing them with straight or skinny leg pants, capris, and pencil skirts. The higher the heel, the more elegant and the longer your legs. Choose a height in which you feel comfortable. The wedge shoes are quite comfortable, so you will probably be able to go up a bit higher than you are used to.
